GRANOLA

INGREDIENTS:

  • 300g oats
  • 100g hazelnuts
  • 100g flaked almonds
  • 150g mixed seeds
  • 4 tbsp coconut oil
  • 100ml maple syrup
  • 100ml honey
  • 2 tbsp vanilla essence
  • Tsp cinnamon
  • 200g mixed dried fruit
  • Pinch of salt


METHOD:

1. Preheat the oven to 150 fan.
2. Mix the oats, seeds & nuts together in a bowl.
3. Over a low to medium heat melt the coconut oil, honey, maple syrup, vanilla essence and cinnamon together. Once melted, pour it all over the oat mixture. Mix well together.
3. Spread the oat mixture across a baking tray on top of some parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes. Make sure to add a pinch of salt too.
4. Once 15 minutes has passed add the dried fruit then cook for a further 10 minutes.
